Now, on with my favorite yearly contest. This is the 2nd annual Miss Christina Fantasy Football win a date. The good thing about this contest is that even if you don't win the first prize, it will make for a fun football season as you will have a rooting interest in your very own fantasy football team playing against me and others!
The grand prize will be a trip to Las Vegas to spend some quality time with your favorite (I hope) MFC model! Round-trip airfare (from the U.S. or Canada only), two nights accommodations in your own room and $200 cash to spend how you want. We will decide what to do in Las Vegas — depending on your interests – but some possibilities include dinners, dancing, gambling, topless pools, shows and so on! You will also get a free entry to defend your title in next year's league.
Notice: this contest is for time with me in Las Vegas and it will be a lot of fun, but DOES NOT imply any sexual favors while on the trip.
How to get a coveted league membership spot
- 10 spots are available (We will have a 12-team league and I will be one of the "owners". Also, we have the defending champion returning this year.)
- 7 spots will be given to the highest token tips (individual, not cumulative -- online or offline) from Wednesday, Aug. 8 to Thursday, Aug. 23 at 10 p.m. Pacific Time (11 p.m. Mountain, midnight Central and 1 a.m. on Aug. 22 Eastern). I will close tipping and do the raffle drawing at that time to determine my league.
- 3 "wildcard" spots will be given out through a raffle drawn just after 10 p.m. Pacific on Aug. 21. You do not need to be in my room at that time to win, but the raffle will be done online in front of my webcam.
- Raffle tickets are 1 for 125 tokens or 5 for 500.
- Draft of NFL players will be held online using ESPN.com's website tentatively scheduled for the evening of Sunday, August 26. This means that if you are one of the teams, you only have a couple of days to get set up. I didn't want to conflict with Labor Day weekend this year, so that's why I have such a quick turnaround. While drafting your own players is half the fun of the league (as many who have already played fantasy football will likely agree), you will have the option of letting the computer pick the players for you (if you can't be there or just don't feel confident in your football knowledge).
- The No. 1 draft pick will be the highest tipper, the No. 2 pick will go to the second-highest tipper, No. 3 pick will go to the third and so on through the No. 7 pick. The 8th pick will be the first raffle winner and the 9th pick will be the second raffle winner until pick 11. Last year's champion will have the No. 11 pick and I will have the No. 12 pick in the first round. The second round, however, will be in reverse order of the first round and it will continue in this fashion until the draft is complete.
- Scoring will use the basic ESPN system and games will be played head-to-head each week of the NFL season followed by a playoff.
- The top 6 teams from the regular season will qualify for the playoffs (with the two regular-season division winners getting a bye in to the semifinal round).
- The winner of the championship game (The Christina Bowl) will earn the Vegas trip with me! So if I win I guess I'll just have to spend some quality time with myself.

**The first prize winner will have 90 days from the Championship Game to set up the date with me. It doesn't have to be within 90 days, just has to be set up.
